How we publish
Editorial Policy
RungMap publishes practical career-search and interview-preparation guidance. This policy explains how that work is authored, supported, reviewed, labeled, and corrected.
Last reviewed: September 27, 2026
Authorship and experience
Founder stories and practical guides published under Charles’s byline connect to his public founder profile. Product and resource pages without a named author are published by RungMap. We describe real experience and current product behavior without inventing credentials, reviewers, testimonials, or results.
Sources, citations, and examples
When guidance depends on an external rule or factual source, we prefer primary sources and provide citations where they help a reader verify the claim. Synthetic examples are labeled clearly and never use customer resumes, interview recordings, or private employer conversations.
When AI assistance supports research, drafting, or editing, RungMap checks the finished guidance for factual support, product accuracy, and clear boundaries before publication. Guides with material AI assistance include a visible disclosure.
Review dates and product availability
Public pages carry review dates in RungMap’s sitemap. We distinguish released or currently available features from preview concepts and development work. Availability language on the relevant product page is authoritative when plans change.
AI coaching boundaries
RungMap’s AI coaching is a practice environment. It can help analyze the evidence and clarity in a practice response, but it cannot know an employer’s private views, reproduce a real hiring discussion, or guarantee an interview or employment outcome.
Corrections
If you find a factual error, broken citation, unclear disclosure, or outdated availability statement, email support@rungmap.com. We review credible corrections, update the public page when warranted, and advance its review date.
