Information we collect

We collect account and authentication information, including your email address and the security records needed to operate your account.

You may provide career and profile information, resumes, job applications, company and professional contact details, interview preparation materials, and other content you choose to save.

When you use AI features, we process the inputs you submit and the outputs RungMap creates. Features that support spoken coaching may also process audio and transcripts when you choose to use them.

We also receive limited technical and request data needed to operate and protect RungMap, such as IP address, coarse device or browser information, request logs, and security signals.

Service providers, payments, and essential storage

Payment information is handled by payment processors such as Stripe. RungMap receives billing identifiers, subscription status, and related transaction information, but does not receive full card details.

We use service providers for limited purposes needed to deliver RungMap. Supabase supports authentication, database, and infrastructure functions as applicable. OpenAI processes AI prompts, relevant grounded user content, and outputs for AI features. Anam processes live audio, video, transcripts, prompts, and responses when you choose an immersive AI interview. Stripe processes billing and subscription activity. We share information with these providers only as reasonably needed for those purposes.

We use essential browser storage and similar technologies to keep you signed in, preserve requested workflows, protect the service, and remember necessary settings.

How we use and protect information

We use information to provide job search and coaching features, maintain accounts, process subscriptions, respond to support requests, improve reliability, prevent abuse, and protect security.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational security measures appropriate to the information we handle. No online service can promise absolute security.

Account activity and service usage

When account activity reporting is enabled, we record signed-in page categories, visit counts, active days, and successful sign-ins observed during app use. These records are linked to your account so an authorized RungMap owner can understand which features people use and improve the service. This reporting does not collect page query strings, job identifiers, resume text, interview transcripts, or audio content.

We also record AI feature usage and estimated processing costs associated with an account to operate the service and understand its costs. These figures are estimates, not a record of what you paid.

Page-activity and observed-sign-in records are scheduled for deletion after 90 calendar days. Account records and AI usage records follow the broader retention practices below. Contact support with questions about these records or to request access, correction, or deletion.

Candidate-controlled Career Twin sharing

Enhanced members may create a private, time-limited Career Twin link from evidence they reviewed and approved. A person with the link can view that approved snapshot until it expires or the member revokes it. The link does not expose the member’s private RungMap workspace, source documents, account email, or hidden evidence.

Career Twin may generate answers only from the active approved snapshot and may report that evidence was not supplied. Recruiter-room pages are excluded from search indexing and third-party session replay. RungMap records only bounded engagement counts needed to operate the feature; it does not retain recruiter question or generated-answer prose.

Retention and your requests

We retain information while it is needed to provide RungMap, meet legitimate business and security needs, resolve disputes, and satisfy applicable obligations. You may ask to access, correct, or delete account information by contacting support@rungmap.com. Some records may be retained when reasonably required for security, fraud prevention, billing, or legal obligations.

Children

RungMap is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided information, contact support@rungmap.com.

Changes and contact

We may update this notice as RungMap changes. We will post the current version here with its updated date. The operator is Argo Group, LLC, doing business as RungMap. Questions and requests may be sent to support@rungmap.com.
