Built for the person carrying the weight of the search.

RungMap is here to make the next step feel more manageable, one honest decision at a time.

Every few years, I found myself looking for another sales position. I had experience and knew I could contribute, but the search still felt scattered. There were opportunities to sort through, companies to research, applications to complete, and interviews to prepare for. I often wished I had a guide beside me to help make sense of it all.

The idea of a guide has always meant something to me. My great grandfather was a Maine game warden and spent 30 years as a Maine Guide. A good guide does not choose the destination for you. They know the country, pay attention, and help you make good decisions when the path is not obvious.

That is what I wanted RungMap to become.

RungMap was built to help people find opportunities worth pursuing, manage the work that makes a job search exhausting, and prepare for the conversations that can shape their future. It should help you feel more organized, more prepared, and less alone while leaving every important decision in your hands.

Will this make the experience better and lighten the burden for the person looking for work?

That question guides every decision we make. If the answer is no, we go back and try again.
